Rival Games CEO, Jukka Laakso, announced in a blog post that the studio would soon be shut down. After mounting debt and financial losses over the years, the coronavirus pandemic ultimately put potential investors and aid out of reach for the studio. Laakso admitted, “the raging coronavirus is just the icing on the cake, and by no means the one to blame”.After the heartfelt retrospective, Laakso confirmed that Rival Games’ episodic adventure, would eventually be removed from Steam and mobile app stores.

No time frame was given but if you’ve had any of their titles on your list — including and which are safe for now — sooner might be a better time to grab them than later.Posted: byCompanies Involved. Code of Princess, Studio Saizensen’s 2012 action-RPG for the Nintendo 3DS, is being delisted again.

We first added the game to the site after it was removed in but at some point it made an unannounced return. With nearly as little fanfare it is once again going away, this time seemingly for good. Atlus announced on that Code of Princess would be delisted by the end of the month:Code of Princess will no longer be available on the Nintendo eShop after March 31st. Get the game before then! Learn more about Code of Princess. It is uncertain at this point if the delisting is related to Atlus or the developer/publisher duo of Studio Saizensen and Degica Games. Code of Princess was published only as an eShop download in Australia and Europe by Agatsuma Entertainment who has since shut down, leaving it particularly vulnerable to a delisting in these regions.Thankfully, the original game still exists on and as a physical release on the in North America and Japan.

In 2018 Nicalis published Code of Princess EX, a cleaned up version of the game for the which is also still available. It should be noted that Atlus’ fully localized and voice acted treatment remains exclusive to the 3DS release making it a major loss for the remaining versions, depending on how you feel about dubs. Thanks to everyone who pointed out the news, the game’s will be updated shortly and the date has been added to the calendar.Posted: byCompanies Involved:.

This term has been used literally since the first half of the 1500s for measuring the depth of a body of water, using a line weighted with a lead ball, or plumb. Get to the bottom of something. Depth Engaged in trying to plumb the depths of duplicity to which dealers can descend in faking old furniture.”. Gregory used it in The Furniture Collector (1916): “. Its figurative use came a few decades later and has survived the death of the literal meaning, which gave way to more sophisticated means of measuring.

In an unannounced and unanticipated move, Warner Bros. Interactive has pulled (aka Mortal Kombat 9) off of Steam. The removal happened on when the game’s price was set to $0.00 making it unable to be purchased. The only explanation is the familiar boilerplate wording on the game’s Steam store page: “At the request of the publisher, Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition is no longer available for sale on Steam”.As of the evening of March 22nd the game remains available on and but it’s a little hard to find, at least on the North American PlayStation Store.

Fortune street online. The base game’s only lets you wishlist the title but I was able to dig up the $20 “” that was still available to buy.Is it a sign that the PlayStation versions will be delisted soon as well? With no other details behind the delisting outside of some unsubstantiated links to the game’s Freddy Krueger DLC, it most certainly could be.

We’ll try to keep an eye on it but if you’ve had this one on your PlayStation wishlist, now might be a good time to grab it. Thanks to @pastawheat for pointing this one out to us.Posted: byCompanies Involved.

Publisher Playism and developer Forge Reply announced on that their couch combat title, will be removed from Steam on March 17th. The game has been on an 80% off sale since the announcement:Hello brawlers! We have some sad news concerning multiplayer space shooter In Space We Brawl.

It has been regretfully decided that the game will be removed from the Steam store as of March 17th. However, from now until the game is removed it will be available for 80% off! Now is literally your last chance to buy this game!Comment from the developer, Forge Reply: We are now restructuring our portfolio and In Space We Brawl will no longer be available on Steam. Please note that, if you have purchased a copy of the game, it will remain available in your game library.

Our deepest thanks to all the players who have brawled in space with us!For those who have yet to play the game it is the last chance to do so. It is a local multiplayer game, so at release many users may not have been able to play with their friends as they would have liked. But now the game can be played on Steam Remote Play so even if your friends don’t own the game you will be able to play with them! This could also be a good chance to gift the game to some of your friends as it is available at an extremely low cost at the moment. We hope you take this opportunity to play this fun little game!In Space We Brawl is also poised to disappear on consoles.

While we’ve received no confirmation just yet, the game was recently removed from Xbox One where it was published by Forge Reply themselves. As of this writing both the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 are still available but may be delisted soon. I’ve added the date to the calendar and will have a page up on the site soon.Posted: byCompanies Involved. Just about a year ago, in February of 2019, Load Inc’s well regarded toy racer was delisted from Xbox 360, ending an impressive twelve year run on sale. At the time we thought it might have been caused by the developer closing up shop but Load Inc has been quietly an updated Steam release since last Fall.

It looks like the original game was actually delisted due to a change in publishing rights from D3 to Plug In Digital who will be handling the new release.Unfortunately, we don’t know if the game will return to Xbox 360 or appear outside of Steam but we shouldn’t have to wait much longer to find out. While the official release date is “Early 2020” the game’s page specifies March 10th.

Look for it later this month on, in the meantime I’ve updated the game’s on the site with the news. Thanks to HandMask Tar for pointing this one out.Posted: byCompanies Involved.

Tappingo 2 Review

[Introduction]

Tappingo 2 was developed and published by Goodbye Galaxy Games. It was released on the NA 3DS eShop on Sept. 4, 2014.
[Gameplay]
The objective of the game is to solve each puzzle by extending all of the numbered blocks into a line that has a specific length (which is determined by the number on the block), in order to complete the picture. There is a clock/timer that keeps track of how long it takes you to complete the puzzle. After you complete a puzzle, the name of it appears. There are 104 puzzles, just like Tappingo. Some puzzles are large and contain a lot of blocks. A zoom feature has been added that makes it easier to solve large puzzles. There are touch and button controls. Using the touch controls allows you to complete the puzzles faster.
[Graphics/Audio]
The music and graphics have been improved. There is now an option to turn off the music and/or sound effects. The 3D effect is well done, however, it isn't needed to complete the puzzles.
[Replay Value]
After you have solved a puzzle it is easier to complete the level in a shorter amount of time. However, there isn't a need to improve your completion time.
[Overall]
The game starts off nice and easy and gradually gets harder as you progress. I really liked that the name of each puzzle was added. It was very exciting to see puzzles that were cameos of various Indie characters. It would have been nice if there was something that encouraged you to replay previously completed puzzles, such as leaderboards. A ranking system that required you to complete each puzzle in a certain amount of time would have been a nice addition as well.
