Pocket Card Jockey

Today, Nintendo announced that Pocket Card Jockey would also come out in Europe, next month. It will be released on May 5th on the Nintendo eShop (the price remains TBA), and a free demo will be available this week. It was previously announced for North America during the latest Nintendo Direct presentation, and it’s quite likely that region will get both the demo and full game on the same day as Europe.

If you don’t quite know what Pocket Card Jockey is, you should know it’s a game developed by Game Freak, creators of HarmoKnight and the Pokémon series. Here’s what we wrote about it last month, in our Nintendo Direct report:

The Battle Cats Pop

Last week, Ponos announced that the Nintendo 3DS version of The Battle Cats (a smartphone game, initially) would be released in English, and will feature VS multiplayer. Unfortunately, they didn’t give a release date/window, let alone a price.

Also, it’s not quite clear whether the game will only be released in North America, or if Europe is also getting the game. But since the IARC allows for free age rating, there’s no reason for one region not to get the game.

Head after the break for some gameplay footage!
