Early Access ReviewWell, at just over 3 hours in I think a bit of a review is in order. The game runs well for me, and the graphics are pretty good, despite what a lot of reviews seem to say about them not matching the previews, well no.
They are not professional edit and publish grade, but they do not feel out of touch to me. No worse than ARK or pretty much any other game, with ARK being about the best comparison at the moment.My only gripe really here is, not really a graphic one, but animation. Emotes like SLEEP / SIT only stay in that mode for a few seconds. Really ruins the feel of lying or sitting by the fire, when you have to reactivate the EMOTE every few seconds. Blah.The world is really open, and pretty empty during my time playing.
( USA OFFICIAL's EAST ) Having gone and test driven briefly PvP and PvE and for now, I do not see any real difference other than PvP simply exist to actively engage in combat with other players or grief. There is no real reward to being PvP since the money system is not really functioning, and your not going to be seeking epic loot or anything. So fighting is fun. See no point in it.That leads to the real lack of. Lack of much depth or content.
Walking around and speaking to other players and seeing how the crafting develops lead me to understand that aspect. And show how much is not here. HOPEFULLY it will evolve more. It is Early Access after all, so I am hopeful.But for now, long term play? Probably only if your really into the idea of the game.Male and Female characters in place.With the current sale of 9.99 USD I would say get it if you have any interest. Then you can enjoy the Single player side and the PvP / PvE at a cost totally worth the current level of development.
